Annual Efficiency Statements
Local authorities are required to submit Annual Efficiency Statements to the ODPM for the three financial years: 2005/6, 2006/7, 2007/8.
Timetable
The deadlines for submission of future efficiency statements are:
- 12/04/07 2007 - 08 Forward Look
- 05/07/07 2006 - 07 Backward Look
- 15/11/06 2007 - 08 Mid-Year Update
- 08/07/08 2007 - 08 Backward Look
The AES must be submitted electronically to ODPM through ESD toolkit
AES Results So Far: Forward and Backward Looks
2005/6 Forward Look:
- The national results of the 2005/6 Forward Look AES are on the ODPM website.
- A review of these results is contained in Efficiency News Update, Issue 3, August 2005, p 5.
Results for Yorkshire and the Humber have been compiled by the CoE.
